Strategize
Whether it’s a product or a project, the journey begins with an idea. Who is the target? What is the benefit to customers? Why is it worth the investment of time and money? How can we make it repeatable, while not being robotic? Process and workflow. The origin story is critical.
Galvanize
Collaboration is a team sport. Avengers assemble. But it’s not just about bringing people together, it has more to do with the ongoing support everyone must have for each other that breeds success. Communicate. Work in concert to achieve client satisfaction and repeat business.
Individualize
Each person brings a skillset to the table that enables companies to transform concepts into reality. And that talent needs to be mentored, empowered, and, ultimately, trusted to express the collective vision. Let them stretch their legs. It’s okay to paint outside the lines at times.
Deliver
When you make a good move in basketball, you have to finish. The same is true in business. It’s what I like to call “endgame.” Driving a blog or a project home, or nailing a launch, gets me jazzed. This is the final part of the journey, and arriving at the destination was worth it.
