Getting There From Here
I’d had this idea for a novel for several years. It was just sort of stewing, characters making connections and scenes arranging themselves over time in my head. Then one day, I sat down and started writing. Drafts and edits and revisions and workshops, it took too long. But I finished. Still not published, though.
One day. Soon. I think. I hope. Here’s the blurb for the back cover in the meantime…
Music is life. Life is music. That’s reality for the six guys in Agora Euphora, the North Jersey band that fuses flower power with heavy metal. Through originals and covers, rehearsals in the barn and gigs from D.C. to Maine, the group transitions from its garage days to a developing act in the jam scene. Along the way, they learn to believe in one another and the moment.
Like any touring outfit that is a collection of twenty-somethings, they thirst to unearth their individual identity. Experiencing the peaks and valleys of musical success, girlfriends, or family issues, Agora Euphora propels each member to face the consequences of his decisions. And, ultimately, when fueled by passion and improvisation, that music and life together shape a greater whole than either is capable of on its own.
For Business
One of my responsibilities at Keypoint Intelligence is business development with traditional print dealers, many of which have a managed IT services practice. Along with connecting them with colleagues at Keypoint, I very much like getting their messages out to the public. For several years I’ve been writing Channel Strategy Session, a series of blogs for dealers, while infographics, podcasts, and videos add to the content quiver.

About Sports
Writing articles for a local high school sports newspaper? Yes, please. I covered games for recaps as well as interviewed athletes and coaches for features, edited and assigned pieces, assisted with layout, sold ad space, and even drove a delivery route once a week.
